Hi, I’m Christina Di Chiara.

BKin - CSEP Certified Personal Trainer.

I am a movement enthusiast. I have over 15 years of experience of teaching fitness, yoga and dance, as well as coaching sports, personal training, and performance enhancement.

It has been my pleasure to work with many individuals over the years who have a variety of stories and backgrounds when it comes to movement. I have had the pleasure of learning from them and helping them to move better, reduce pain and connect with their body.

My strength is my ability to be compassionate and flexible with my clients, to understand where they are at, and meet them there to help them get where they want to go.

I experienced a brain injury in 2015 that completely shifted my career and my life. I know how lonely and frustrating that experience can be, and I am familiar with the rehabilitation journey that follows. This experience allows me to relate and have empathy for the challenges that my clients face when dealing with injury and recovery.

I believe that wellness is a combination of mental, physical and spiritual practices that work together to serve you, so you can be your most optimal self. I pride myself on offering holistic services that encompass these practices and honour the individual as a whole.

I have a fascination with the intersection of psychology, physiology and biomechanics. I have a toolbox of certifications and continuing education courses that I am always adding to that allows me to generate solutions to your movement challenges.

My Approach

Your health and wellness are a priority to me. I work closely with my clients to strategize and develop custom tailored plans based on their goals, movement history, personality, and interests. I work with them to increase range of motion, decrease pain, build strength, agility and speed. Recover from accidents and surgeries, and get back to doing the things they love. The movement our bodies is literally medicine for our minds and souls. When we focus on our body and our movements we are staying in the present moment, which leads to less anxiety, stress and promotes a nervous system that is flexible and can heal itself, which leas to a more fruitful and vibrant life.

What’s holding you back? Lets begin with where you are now and determine and strategize where you want to be. Who you want to be. How you want to feel.

In my approach, the key to successfully achieving and maintaining your goals is 1) to be curious about change and trying new things, 2) to be courageous enough to do it even when you feel afraid and 3) to be authentic in your expression of yourself, which means honouring how you feel physically, mentally and emotionally, acknowledging what you like, dislike, what’s working and what’s not, and be true to yourself throughout your journey.

This last one can be tricky and more often than not, that’s where a lot of the work comes in. As you change physically, you will change holistically as a person, change can be scary. It can also be very good.

Are you ready for the journey?

Dream it

If you have a dream or a goal and you want help to get there, schedule a free consultation and let’s have a chat to see if we are on the same page and are a good fit to work together.

Build it

Change takes time and consistency. It’s like the pages of a book, or the steps of a marathon, individually it won’t look like much but put it together and it’s a story worth telling and a trail worth running.

Let me show you what those steps look like to get you on the right page and moving towards your goals.
